As they just say disconnect pipe in the instructions for removing the tank. I have tried pulling pushing squeezing and everything else I can think of. I daren't put too much pressure on it as it's only a plastic fitting out of the pump, and I have read enough tragic tales of it breaking.,You need to push the hose in towards the elbow while pulling the collar back. I couldn't get enough purchase on it and in the end used an open ended spanner that fitted over the elbow and pressed on the collar(?) of the fitting. Then push f***ing hard with the hose towards the elbow and it popped right off. Only took me 40 mins before trying with the spanner.,,,

How to remove the fuel tank from a moto guzzi breva 1100

Probably have to remove the seat first. Most fuel tanks are retained by u shaped flanges that grip a round rubber puck on both sides of the frame near the steering head. After you drain the fuel, lift the rear of the tank slightly and pull it to the rear, it should then be free to lift off the frame.

What do you mean adjust the display? I have a Norge and other than changing the display functions I am at a loss. You should be able to get these issues resolved in the manual. My Norge has a great owners manual that came with it.

Guzzi sometimes won't go into neutral

Sounds like a slightly bent shift fork. But start with a oil and oil filter change. Dirt and grit in the oil can cause the same problem. If the problem gets worst you will need to replace the bad fork. This is a very involved project and bets done in the shop.

Please rate this solution. Thanks Fran :)

2004 Moto Guzzi Breva V750 ie won't start.

Hi, Veganville before testing any electrical component in the Starting Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.
