Question about 1990 Moto Guzzi 750 Targa

1 Answer

Electrics Have noticed today that the brake light on my is permanently lit. I'm sure there is an adjustment facility for this somewhere but can anyone tell me where I should be looking? Presumably there will be separate adjusters for the rear and the front brakes? Thanks for any advice.

That's a tricky one! They are normally hydraulically-activated swiches if my LM2 3 5 and 1100 Sport are anything to go by. Do you have a faulty hydraulic switch? Disconnect one at a time - that may be the answer.,,,

BRAKE PROBLEM

When was the last time you had brake work done? The most common answers would be you need new brake pads or you need to have the brake system flushed and filled. If these two things have been done recently, you may consider replacing the rotors. It is unlikely that the back brakes are the issue since you do most of your braking with the fronts. Out of curiosity, is the emergency brake light permanently lit on your dash?
