Oil change Kymco People S 200 Oil Change?

the sump plug will be on the bottom of the engine but theseold Honda copy (GY) engines don't use an oil filter they have a wire mesh gauze screen that sits on top of the sump plug bolt so make sure this comes out with the sump plug and is free from any dirt/debris. so drain oil clean the gauze screen then refit and refill your oil. check your oil level if its low or black and burnt this could be your over heating problem but I would also check to make sure the auto choke isn't sticking on. when you go for the 600 mile check up, tell the dealer the crackling noise is expanding and contracting of new exhaust , and change the oil dino oil for the first 1500 miles, then you can change to full syn., and change the oil hot after a good ride

1600ml is the Arctic Cat recommended amount BUT if you check the KYMCO manual (the '06 250 is a kymco made for AC) it says the capacity is 1600ml but when you change oil it is 1400ml. This might explain why my oil level always seems higher than it should be. You can check the level with the site glass on the side.

Also on the 250, you also have to change transmission fluid separately. It uses the gear oil NOT engine oil.

YES, THIS MODLE HAS A OIL INJECTION AND ANY TWO STROKE OIL WILL WORK BUT TRY AND STAY WITH A MOTOR CYCLE TWO STROKE OIL THERE IS A DIFFERANCE

For your bike you should use 15w 40 oil. Buy some better known mark oil.

You should be changing it every 1000 miles
