From what I've heard and read it is a great bike with the exception of poor spring rates from the factory. Almost every one seems to agree that it needs stiffer springs.,,

Hi i have a 2013 ktm250sxf it starts but stuck on full throttle any ideas? aint got a clue because its fuel injected? cheers

Remove air cleaner and look at throttle body butterfly valve. Ck that it is moving with the throttle, if not fix or replace cables.

My 1992 yamaha virago 750 quit firing were should i start to solve this promblem

First and foremost, check your "Stator" I have an 89' XV750 and had to deal with the same issue. I put a light kit on the bike not thinking anything about power drain. Then my stator went out. After I replaced my stator, it was fine after I installed some LED volt limiters(resisters) witch are very easy to install.

Does it take a special spark plug wrench to change plug in 2008 ktm250sxf

I don't think is special size should be standard mm in size but of course you will need a deep socket one (long one) to get down inside the head to reach it

I have a 07 Yamaha r1 with 5,000miles. I was looking for an oil and was thinking about amsoil 10w-30. Is that a good brand and weight or is there better??

There are many good synthetic oils for bikes, generally the more it costs the better it is.
10w30 seems ok but will depend on your location and tempurature,
Your manual has a page on oil and recommended weights

I have a 1992 yz125 runs good but when riding its like it has no power

Lack of power is usually bad valves. Clean the air cleaner and do a compression check. Could you take a moment and rate my answer? Thanks!

When warm idols at 2K

check the carb the cylinder gaskets if there is a leak somewhere it will want to rev really high but as for adjustment screws they will be on the throttle blade themselves and I think suzuki put them on the front of the carbs. And I think there will be only one screw, this adjusts the idle speed on both carbs. Also make sure you're running proper grade of fuel. suzuki's hate anything but premium(at least 91 octane)

Just looking for general advice...on FMF Pipe Install

i changed my pipe on 07 dt125lc and did not rejet, seemed fine until i holed a piston. best to rejet me thinks, about £20 instead of £150 for piston rebore bearings and jets plus the time to re build.

Oil filter

what is the stock # for the oil filter? It is not listed in the manual or at least I can't find it. The oil is listed as 20W-50 do we also use the 10W-50 for the 07 model? Thank youYes the Owners Manuals are the same for '06-'07 except for the cover and maybe a typo correction or two. The filter is our part #11801 (K&N 171C). It's a good question and one that I answer often. We changed the factory recommended oil in 2007. I wish I had a way to say this where it was clear and available for everyone but here it is: THE CORRECT OIL FOR ALL AUTO-GLIDES REGARDLESS OF YEAR MODEL IS 10W30 MOBIL1, SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL. THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS 1 3/4 QUARTS. THE LEVEL ON THE STICK SHOULD BE 1/8 BELOW THE TOP HOLE IN THE STICK WITH THE BIKE IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. THE DIPSTICK MUST BE SCREWED ALL THE WAY IN TO MEASURE THE LEVEL.,,,
