Question about 2005 KTM EXC 250 Racing

Handling hey yea i currently got a 2004 kx 125 and im gonna sell it soon and upgrade to a new bike looking at the 4 strokes. my buddys got KTMs and they love the things tones of power

No problems all good news so im looking into one but not sure what to get a 250 or 450 ive riden Both in a honda and kawi but none of the KTM's yet.. so yea any ome got any advice..gonna be riden in the winter 2 oncei get some studed tires so yea but yea thanksDefinitely try and ride a couple. I rode the 525SX and a 200SX a couple years ago and they were a blast. They do tend to have that Euro handling which is a little different than the Japanese bikes, but you'll get used to it rather quickly. The 525 I rode was slimmer than my YZ, which made it a little difficult for me to grip, but I think they've changed the geometry of the bikes a little bit over the years, and I hear they've gotten most of the suspension bugs fixed. Definitely try and ride some and see what you think.,,,

Hey i want to service my kx 65 2006 and I want to know the basic to service my bike(what oil and amount)


If this is a 2 stroke engine it does not require an oil change.
If this is a 4 stroke engine most motorcycle manufacturers recommend 10W40 oil and an engine that size should require approximately 3 QTS of oil. However, personally I have always used 20W50 in all of my 4 strke motorcycle engines. You also mentioned a problem what is the problem with the KX 125?

32:1--40:1 any less than 40:1 And you take risk of damaging engine(crank and top end),Any more than 32:1 and it will smoke real bad and foul spark plugs alot.....

I have a problem again with my 86 kx 80 it dies when i rev it too high also when i drive (im using 30-1 mix but im using two stroke outboard oil)and when i take the sparkpluge out there usualy is a brown...


is it loosing water mate and the mix is 32-1 mate and get some good oil if it loosing water the head gasket has gone if it not this ckeck the jeting on the carb good look

Hey! ,i have a 06 kx 250 2 stroke and shes not giveing any fire !


sounds like your coil is packing in try the coil on another bike buddy if this works on another nike get back to me

im pretty sure that the bike is a all in one menin that oil in tranny is same that flows in motor
