For the 2002 model, the ktm manual recommends anywhere from 40:1 to 50:1
no joke, it just gives a huge range
I run my 2001 at 44:1

What kind of gasoline?

  1. Check your manual for the proper gas-and-oil mixture. For almost all modern two-stroke engines, a 50-to-1 mixture is recommended. That requires about 2 1/2 oz. oil for every gallon of gasoline.

  2. Use only two-cycle oil for your mixture. This oil is made especially for these engines and can be purchased at gas stations, hardware stores or any other place where you buy regular motor oil.

  3. Pour the proper amounts of gas and oil into a fuel can. Shake the can well to mix it.

  4. Label your gas can with the mixture ratio. You can use the same mixture for other two-stroke engines.

  5. Shake your fuel can thoroughly every time you refuel. After a while, the oil will settle out of the gas, and shaking it up ensures that the oil and gas are properly mixed again before you put the fuel into your chainsaw.

I bought a reconditioned Poulan pro PP4629AVX and I can't find a manual for it. What is the oil to gas mixture? Thanks Steve

The fuel-oil mixture ratio for all Poulan two-cycle products is 40:1. You can obtain this ratio by mixing 3.2 oz. of oil with one gallon of regular gas.

50cc scooter lack of power from 0 to 10mph

Fuel mixture is too rich. The easiest way I adjust those is to have a friend stand in front of the scooter, holding the wheel and handlebars still while I lightly hit the throttle and at the same time, adjusting the fuel mixture screw on the carburetor slightly. applying the throttle harder while adjusting, you should feel the scooter gain or lose power.

What fuel does the csp 3314 use? I bought this chainsaw second hand and i am unsure what fuel to put in it. Thanks in advance for any assistance Kelly

You need to mix 3.2 oz of 2 cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas. Some may disagree but a 40:1 ratio is better than a 50:1 mix. It gives more oil in the mix to keep the cylinder/piston lubricated. Any less and you will burn up the engine. With this new mixture you may need to get a professional to readjust the carburetor to this new mix.

Wrong gas in the tank

I certainly would not suggest putting break cleaner in any fuel system...
I take it that since the engine is not seized that there was too much oil in the mixture.
you can rinse your fuel system with a small amount of straight gasoline...take out the spark plug and pull it a few times to allow the gas to get into your carb then dump the gas out and pull it a few more can take a little straight gas and pour it into the plug hole to remove any oil build up in your cylinder...then pour it back out...then
Buy and install a new spark plug...mix a small amount of gas/oil at the proper mixture and give it a go...if you dont have serious engine damage, you should be ok..
if it still doesnt start, repeat the procedure

good luck

Need Gas/Oil Mixture

How tiny is the bottle? Don't follow the advice of the entire bottle to one gallon. Bottles come in different sizes. The correct mixture is 50:1. this equals 2.6 ounces of oil for each gallon of gas. You can do the math from there to match the size of your fuel can.

I hope this helps.
