Hi, Jameszonunsanga for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your KTM, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. Hy, I have a Duke 690 from 2008 and I have bought a FMF apex titanium for it. The problem is that it is too loud for a city. Do you have any solution? To make it less noisy?

Call FMF direct or the place where you got the end can ,and ask to see if a sound baffle is available for this type of can ,it is a small plug that goes down the exit hole.

My ktm duke had a low battery i fitted a new one and the ignition worked fine but now it dose nothing but bike kick starts

Check your stator and voltage regulator for proper output. Sounds like the battery isn't receiving a charge through the system. You can charge the battery with a trickle charger to verify the battery will take a charge outside the bikes charging system.

How easy is it to lower the seat height on Duke 2, the setting now is too high by 25-35mm

hi colin

you may use a neat lowering link for Duke like the one in the picture below.

The topic below is also applicable.

Else:

trimming the seat will be applicable.

Duke 2 loss of power when engine under load

Is the bike at stock condition?
Check the carb and the charging system.
You should measure 13,5-14V at your battery in 3000rpm with your high beams on.
