Question about 1997 KTM Duke
000 rpm and above. I thought maybe bad gas(filled up before I noticed) so I went home drained my tank and then filled up from a different station. Took it out to test and the same thing happens. It seems to me that it is getting to much fuel or something. If you hold the throttle wide open it will load up and die. Runs normal under 6000 rpm's. I checked every electrical connector on the bike and it's still screwed up. I guess I have to take it to the dealer hopefully I'll get it back before winter arrives in 2 months. Anyone have any ideas?Maybe someone put a spud up yer exhaust pipe -] Seriously though, could be the fuel pump on it's way out? Does it do it an all of the three maps? But from what you say it sounds like fuel, also check fuel lines aren't kinked, Check the tank breather is breathing ect ect,,,
