Is that right? I have removed and cleaned plug but bike will still not start? Hook up the spark plug wire to it! It has a little boot looking end that slips over the tip of the plug to make the connection,

Where does the spark plug wires connect in a 1994 HD Dyna Wide Glide

The spark plug wires connect to the spark plugs on one end and to the coil on the other end. The coil is located on left side of the bike just under the seat and in front of the chrome cover over the electrical box. It makes no difference which wire goes where if the original ignition system is still on the bike because of the "dual fire" characteristics of the ignition system.

Good Luck

1983 gl1100 how to replace spark cap ends

Both of the caps are held together with a single piece of rubber designed to keep dirt out of the spark plug well. The wires are numbered, be sure to make a chart of which wire goes to which plug. Pull the rubber double cover off of both caps. The individual plug caps will now unscrew off of the end of the wires. They should test at exactly 5000 OHM's any reading higher or lower replace the cap.You can purchase inexpensive NGK plug caps for about $5 each. Be smart and just replace them all. They are the same caps that were put on your Honda originally but they are cheaper because you are not buying them through Honda. You may have to trim 1/4 inch of wire off of the end of the cable if the end of the cable is stripped. After you screw on the new plug caps you can either use the round ends that came with the caps or you can put both caps back into the double well cover end that was OEM on the Goldwing. Then just simply plug the caps back on to the spark plugs.

I have a 67 triumph 650 bonniville tr120 custom chopper kick start only, it wont start. i put my hands on a spark plug wire and try to kick start and it wont shock me. what could it be?

just because you put your hand on the wire doesn't mean its not getting spark, pull the plug wire off the plug,, insert a screw driver in the end of the plug wire (you'll need help with this,,) have a friend hold the screwdriver close to a bolt on the motor,, crank it over and see if you see spark , It should arc from the screwdriver to the bolt, ( it has to be very close to the bolt but not touching, if you see spark,, pull the plug,, attach the wire back on the sparkplug,, and repeat the same thing, Only place the tab of the plug next to the bolt,, spark = you have spark,, if not ,, replace the plug

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS ON A 1986 HONDA SHADOW VT500?

There are four spark plugs to change. The spark plug wrench in the motorcycle tool kit will remove and replace the plugs. If the tool kit is missing you can go to the Honda dealer and order just the spark plug wrench (separately off the microfiche tool kit page) necessary to do the job (about $10). The Honda spark plug wrench has a built in grabber to lift the plug out of the deep head access hole.

Looking to change the spark plug on a yz 250f, how do you do that.

Sure??. You should have a long spark plug spanner in your tool kit.Remove the plug cap in the middle of the valve/rocker cover.Blow down hole with compressed air.Insert the large end of spark plug spanner down hole and turn until it engages around hex . Use the spanner from your tool kit, turn anti-clockwise untill loose then use your fingers to turn the tool and WWWWWWHHHHAAAALLLLAAAA. 1 removed spark plug...Most important to blow and foreign material outta da hole as we don't want any nasties falling into our nice new engine . glad to help.please leave feedback.

No spark

If you put the spark plug in the end of the ignition wire while its out of the cylinder head and ground the point on the plug and then either kick it or if you have electric start turn it over you would see a spark. The plug has to be grounded
