Why is my air pressure low in front but high in back on my 05 town and country

depends on how often you check tire pressures. you could over time be loosing air by it leaking out around the tire bead, or the tires hitting a curb or pot hole that can cause air to leak, a dirty rim may need to be cleaned or someone is keeping the pressures the same that is noted on the decal on the drivers door jam. I trust you have used a good tire gage and not just looking at the tires, as there is more weight on the front tires than the rear and the front will look like they are lower in pressure.

05 Cadillac deville front tires tell me how much air in tires but rear tires don't say how much air is in tires can the tmps affect this

Inside of each tire attached to the valve stem is the sensor that transmits the air pressure to the indicator panel. It is possible that the sensors have gone bad on the rear of the car or that for some reason they were removed when new tires were mounted on the car. The only way to check that out is to have the tires dismounted and check the transmitter on each of the rear tires.

The rear tires are worn out after two weeks of replacing them.....

Mary-lou,are talking about brand new tires in 2 weeks. The back brakes aren't binding?Do you have the right air pressure in them, look on side of drivers door and it should have what the front and rear tires psi should be,are the tires balanced, they need to be.The emergency brake cable could be stuck.

Wil putting two size tires on a isuzuvehicross make the transferre case go out.

Yes...
The tire sizes are important on any 4X4 vehicle... IF you engage the 4X4 ... or is you have an AWD vehicle...

If the tires are different sizes , front and rear... then the front and rear axles will turn at different speeds... not in sync with the gearing of the transfer case.

Unless this vehicle is being driven on snow , ice or mud.... while in 4x4 mode... this is very bad.... for axles and transfer case...

What is the correct air pressure for a 2005 softail deluxe

Correct tire pressure - 30 PSI in the front
36 PSI rear single rider
40 PSI rear two up riding

Always refer to the side wall of the tire for air pressure. You may not be running Dunlop tires.

Front end vibration

One thing you could try is a "fork brace" or what some people call a "tweek bar" that ties the two sliders together. This reduces the amount of flex in the front forks. We used to run them on our dirt bikes years ago. They do help stabilize the front end.

Also drop your front tire pressure to 30 psi and look for any unusual wear patterns on you tires such as cupping. Take the wheel off and have it spin balanced as well. You can also change the fork oil in your forks. I run PJ1 30 weight in my Wide Glide. It's a bit on the stiff side but it sure helped the handling as the bike no longer bounces and dives in the turns. I also got away from the Dunlop tires. I now run Metezler 880's and they seem to handle the turns better but I think the Dunlops had better braking characteristics.

Good Luck
Steve

Both rear tires in very good cond. lost their tread and blew out

Only a very few things will cause a tire to blow out. Most common is a defect in the tire. Running the tire low of air pressure or overloading the vehicle or a combination of both will cause it to blow out. If you had the correct pressure in the tires and did not overload the vehicle then I would suspect the tires were defective. I would go back to wherever you bought the tires and ask for an adjustment.

Ideal tire pressure 2005 ford ecape limited

the manufactor puts a sticker on the passengers side rear door with recommended tire pressure.if you want a smoother ride then decrease the rear tires by 2 lbs,so if the front is supposed to be 35 lbs,put 33 lbs in the rear.try to keep the 2 rear tires the same exact and the two front the same to keep the tires from wearing un-even..unless you have a air pressure monitor in the system that lets you know when your tires need air, this way feels better. The reason for the difference from front to back in pressure is because of the weight of the engine.
