1st u disconect all the lines that are connected to it.(make sure to tun ur gas off) then u unhook everythin holdin the carb in place. once u get it out there will be 4 screws on each corner of it...unscrew all four and pull it apart.there might be gas still in the bottom. once u pull it apart Be CAREFUL there is a peice of plastic (like a little stick) make sure u see where that comes out. there will be 2 black bobbers that r held in by a pin. u can unhoock the pin but not necassary. just try to clean everypart of the inside.

I start the scooter up fine and when i let it idle it just cuts out same when i rev the throttle what is the problem here

Condensation from inside the gas tank has probably made it's way into the carburetor. There is probably a drain screw on the carb float bowl. Drain the bowl, let it refill with gas, then see if the problem has gone away. Also, it may be time for a new spark plug. If none of that works, remove the carb then remove th float bowl from the carb and clean the carb with spray carb cleaner. Spray into every little hole in the carb. Below is a generic diagram. Hello please advice as to why th ebike will just idle and with choke on full but just off if choke is off or acceleratoer is turned on high i have 2004 vstar 1100 with only 420kms

sounds like the carbs are gummed up since its a low milage bike. either open the carbs and clean them or use a fuel system cleaner and hope for the best.

It was running fine then i put some bad gas in it and started running like ****.Put new plugs then took off gas tank cleaned out bad gas but now it wants to flood and leak gas out th exhaust. Please help

Sounds like dirt may have gotten into the float in the carb. Try loosening the drain screw on the carb and tapping on it at the same time. If that gets it out,great. If you still have the same problem, you may need to take the carb off and clean it out.

It only will run when i spray gas in th carbs

most likely the carb is clogged with old gas. normally caused from letting the gas sit without running the bike for a while

I want to clean air filter on my 2007 Kawasaki KLE 500. How do I get at it? I have no manual. John

you have to remove the tank. leave your fuel selector on. no fuel will escape when you disconect the hose from the tank. remove the four phillip head screws facing th front of the bike. slide out the air filter. you may want to change or clean the plugs while you have the tank off.

My 1971 ts250 wont idle, it runs fine at higher RPM's but i have to choke it to start it and rev it to keep it running. ive cleaned the carb 3 times since spring and cant figure it out.

i fixed the problem simply by adjustingthe screws on th side of the carb. my dad had messed with it for an hour or so the day before... the next day he left town and after i spent 15 minutes or so dinking aroud it ran and idled fine. (of course if u ask him he got it close for me.) ( ;
