For more power you can port the engine but I would start with performance Reeds. Also would adjust suspention and revalve if needed. That would be it for me…,,

How do i derestrict my 2011 wr 25

do you mean the exhaust or the throttle restriction the seller (dealer should already have de restricted the throttle side for you on sale but the exhaust you need to buy an after market system FMF power bomb Header with FMF silencer are awesome for that bike works well

I have a 98 yz125, i race it but seem to have a lack in power in certain areas, ive changed my jetting a few times but seem to find the power else where and NOT where i need it, as of rite now im running a...

I would first make sure the power valve is decarboned and moves smoothly. Jetting is trial and error as so many things can affect the mix. Temp. humidity, gas quality, oil ratio etc. Tht being said you can make small changes and keeping a log with results. First write down baseline settings. Include main jet and pilot jet numbers found stamped on the jets and needle number. You don't say where it is you are trying to get power. 125s have poor bottom mid power, it is all on top for racing. Don't change and race or you may keep going when you should stop and melt something. Try to test at the altitude where you will race and read the plug often, cleaning or changing the plug between tests. Be alert for the surging feel of lean mix with racing idle do not let this continue. Remember 0 to 1/4 throttle, pilot and needle base width. 1/4 to 1/2 throttle controlled by needle mid taper. 1/2 to 3/4 throttle needle tip and main. 3/4 to full is the main jet. Find out the stock settings and make sure to start near there. I don't know about a spes pipe but pro circuit has charts for jetting and maybe a support line. I really feel you will get more from a clean powervalve, repack the silencer, clean airfilter and maybe v-force reed. Gearing can offer some options. I just read about a James Dean jet kit for cr250 that puts more power in the low mid. I might try that for my bike. Good luck, just remeber " too lean, too long- too bad"

I just put a new fmf fatty pipe and a power core 2 silencer on my bike (1994 yz 250) and now when I start my bike it will run for like 10 sec and then It will bog down and die on me. Then it wont start,...

if the bike was running fine before you replaced pipe, you may need larger jets,or richen fuel mix, also check the reed valve it may be on the weak side.try a new spark plug also if you have not already replaced it.

Installing an exhaust

but I was curious if I need some sort of rubber seal or a sealing compound for it. Thanks a lot!No you dont absolutly need it but it would be smart to have because I had the same thing happen on my yz125 and the carbon went everywhere and staind my swingarm. I just used a piece of old radiator tube because it was cheap and I didn't have to order it.,

I have an 04 125 with a FMF fatty Factroy expansion chamber and a Titanium 2 FMF silencer (shorty) the carb settings are Pilot a size leaner than stock main IS stock jet needle is a setting toward lean and air screw is two turns out. My gas:oil mix is around 32:1 - 40:1.. My spark plug buget is killing me, and I havemessed with it til I was blue in the face can anyone help me?,don't worry I didn't take it wrong it is a good question, and let me put it this way.. I run it like a two stroke lol I have had more than my share of two strokes so I don't lolly gag it and usually for the trails I ride you really can't get out of 1st most of the timeI spend most my time around 3/4 throttle. When I 1st got the bike I had a friend messing with the idle screw on it cause it wouldn't idle at all and he messed with the mix screw by accident so I think it was screwed out more than two turns but I set it according to FMF recommendations with the pipe and chamber. The guy who had it before me raced it in a AMA class I don't know which so don't ask lol, so who knows what has been done to it other than what I can see,,,
