Just go to a dedicated Excise dealer or any battery shop on the way. They will know which battery is right for you just by looking at your earlier battery.

Check your battery cells individually. Get a cheap little Fluid eyedropper type tester. If there is one cell that is showing dead, it's a write off, get a new battery. The Yasa battery company can give you the PROPER number codes for your bike. You may have a battery with an under requirement amp hour rating. Some shops just sell you what fits. It still runs because the stater runs the ignition system and my even run your lights fine. If it is a bad battery don't just fling one in and go. get the new battery fully charged with a 2 amp charger and test those cells too. They must be fully charged. Do not just wing it. Battery's have a sort of memory. Once you begin to use that battery, it will only ever charge to the point it 'remembers'. you need a strong battery to turn over a Harley. Fill the new battery , charge it then level up the acid to the marks. Can't see the marks cause it's a black one? Put a Maglight or other strong flashlight against & behind it and you'll see the acid level. All else fails, visually make sure each cell has acid over the lead plates.

Battery won't hold it's charge when fitted to the bike even though it charges when bike is running?

You have a drain of power somewhere. Check all the earths that you can reach. Do you have a dodgy alarm that may have water in the connections, or a damp ignition switch. Use some WD40 to obtain better contacts.

I have a 12v 9ah lead acid unsealed battery accidently it got inverted and all of the electrolyte solution came out i used distilled water to fill it up but now the battery back up is just 10% of what

You need to buy a new one because that electrolyte package goes along with the battery and it isn't sold seperately. And you need fresh electrolyte to make it work.

I wanted replace my battery for my two wheeler Bajaj XCD 135, I approached your dealer located Link road, Brindavan Nagar, Adambakkam Chennai-600088,namely Sri Venkateswara ( not remembering the full name)...

Hi, Chivakumars for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. My 2006 BMW G650 has a brand new battery that died after 3 weeks

Sounds like you need to check your charging system.Battery when engine running alittle over idle should charge at 14.5 volts. If it does not check the output of your stator by testing lead at the regulator rectifier... It may be you have a bad regulator rectifier...
