The bike will start but not run for long especially if I roll the throttle a bit. When turning the key and flipping the kill switch to on I can hear the fuel pump. I removed the fuel pump assembly and checked for holes or cracks in the lines and none are present. Does anyone know if the fuel/air separator can go bad? I have tried putting an extra quick disconnect to an extra fuel line to see if I can get any fuel out put and I get nothing. Do fuel pumps get clogged? Any words of wisdom would be great before I run out and buy an new fuel pump.Try running the bike with the gascap open and see to rule out that the air supply is clogged.,,,

What should I check next? Not getting any error codes, replaced the CKP, MAP, IAC, TP, & ET Sensors. Not sure what I should try next, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Bruce, might have gotten some bad gas. Drain the tank, clean the fuel filter, check the bottom of tank for rust, dirt, water ect. Then ckeck fuel pump pressure, refill tank with a gallon of fresh gas from a different source and take it for a ride. good luck

You may have over filled it. The over flow tube is in front of the rear tire.

Bike did not run for a few months , and now when I am starting engine runs and then stops after a minute or two.any help? bad fuel?

This sounds like a typical case of gas going bad and possible rust in your gas tank. Best to drain ALL gas from your tank - if you can easily remove it - take off the petcock and rinse the tank with fresh gas - look for any flakes of rust in the gas you drain out. Once you have the tank fully flushed - clean or replace your fuel filter and I would suspect that it will run just fine.
If you are not going to ride for an extended time frame - add Fuel Stabilizer" to the tank before putting it up. This is available at your local auto parts store. You will thank yourself for taking this precaution.

JUST PUT GAS IN BIKE,RIDE FOR 2 MILES.THEN BIKE SHUTS DOWN.THEN WAIT 10 MINS OR SO BIKE CRANKS UP AND RIDE FOR 1 MILE AND SHUTS DOWN AGAIN.DO YOU THINK ,I GOT BAD FUEL? OR THE FUEL FILTER IS DIRTY PLEASE...

Could be the fuel filter but I'd bet money on the fuel tank vent. Loosen your fuel cap and take a ride. Don't take the cap off, just loosen it a bit. If that cures the problem, buy a new fuel cap.

Fuel leaking out of airbox breather tube , have stripped and cleaned carbs ,thought may be sticking float seemed to run ok for a while but then started leaking again . when oil was drained got close on 4...

hello, sounds like you need to set floats in carb, if you have already done that, buy new floats, sounds like one or more of your floats are bad, when you cleaned carbs, did you check and see if any gas was inside the floats, sometimes they will get a pinhole in them, then they will fill with a little gas, and they wont turn gas off, because they cant float in the gas, the carbs are letting gas run through intake down into motor, always turn gas off when not riding your bike that might help a little,

The problem may be a pinched fuel or vacuum hose, or a weak/collapsed vacuum hose. The problem may be varnished fuel/carburetors. It may be an electrical problem: loose connector or defective conductor. I cannot help you other than this without having the Duc and performing a few tests. The Monsters are fun to ride.
