Like 25 liter available for the FSR 450 ?05-06 Clarke tank will work but the upper shroud bolt holes have to be redrilled in the shrouds and you have to shove pretty hard on the seat. Its not perfect but it beats walking back to the truck.,,

if the bike is fuel injected- the pump is in the fuel tank.. if the bike has carburetors- there is normally no fuel pump- the fuel gravity feeds from the tank thru the petcock valve into the carbs

How to remove fuel tank on 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900

First remove the speedometer housing by removing the small screw below the speedo. remove the bolte at the front and rear of the tank.
Lifting the tank and tilting it, remove the three lines going to the bottom and front of the tank. Remember where they go,(mark them if necessary). Carefully lift tank free of bike frame. Check large rubber pads (if installed) and reinstall them as found.

Large line is fuel, from tank to petcock. Large line from petcock to Carb. small line is vacumn from intake manifold to petcock (small spigot). suck on this line & make sure Gas comes through Large line to Carb.

Hello all. Hope you can help! The bike starts but begins to splutter and kickback, then stalls, after about 5 mins of riding.

The bike sounds like it's running out of fuel. Try loosening the fuel cap, don't take it off, just loosen it so that the tank can get air into it. If this solves your problem, buy a new fuel cap as the vent is stopped up. If this does not fix your bike and it's fuel injected, you need to take it to a dealer. If you've got a carb equipped bike, It could be the fuel strainer in the tank or the vacuum operated petcock. If the diaphragm in the petcock has a hole in it, it will not let fuel flow as it should and starve the carb.

If you have such a petcock, you can drain the fuel from the tank by loosening the large 1" nut and letting the fuel run out. Catch it with a large funnel and a gas can. Once it empty, finish removing the petcock. Disconnect the large fuel line and the small vacuum hose from the backside of the petcock. Remove the four screws holding the flat plate on the backside of the petcock. Carefully disassemble the plate and you'll find a needle, a small spring, and a diaphragm. Make sure the fuel passageways are clear in the petcock by blowing air through them. Hold the diaphragm up to a light and gently stretch it while looking for pinholes. You can get a new petcock from your Harley dealer.

Good Luck

How can I get old fuel out of the reserve tank on '82 Honda Magna 750? I hope to not need to remove tank.

Hi,
Just disconnect the main fuel hose from the carb rail. Ensure that you have switched the fuel **** to reserve and this will allow the reserve tank to empty. Not all the fuel is going to come out unless you blow air into the fuel tank filler, this will then get a large percentage of the fuel out. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

I have boxer AT bike and it's petrol Tank inside has some corrosion. One of my friend say put one tea spoon of engine oil in to petrol tank when the fuel full filled to the tank to remove corrosion and it...

Your friend is wrong. All that will do is make the engine smoke a bit until the oil is gone. Remove the tank and put a handful of large bolts and nuts in it. Add 1/4 tank of denatured alcohol then shake the tank all around for a couple of minutes. The nuts and bolts will scrape off any rust very well. Dump the alcohol and the hardware then flush out the tank.

Get a liquid fuel tank liner and follow the directions on the label.
Google kreem liquid fuel tank liner “ or go to www.http://www.4secondsflat.com/Fuel_Tank_Sealer.html

Fuel pump?

the fuel pump for your 2000 fuel injected road king is located in the fuel tank. you will have to remove the speedometer housing, by first removing the seat, then remove the one small screw near the seat that holds the speedometer housing in place, also remove the small screw at the front of the speedometer housing and lift the housing off the tank and disconnect the wiring that goes to the back of the speedometer. there is a large oval shaped gold in appearance plate on top of the fuel tank. this plate is what the fuel pump is mounted to.
