And it still was working. When i got home i started the gasser several times trying to find a problem when suddenly white smoke came out of the ignitioncoil. Changed the sparkplug and the ignitioncoil did find that it's the same ignitioncoil as in Volkswagen golf from year -00 !!!! Of course the gasser still don't run as i don't get any spark Now some ideas anyone ? Is the coil the right one ? How to measure the electrical system ? Thanx for any help at allSorry to hear that your beast is offline, but problems are there to be solved. Does your fuel pump run when ignition is turned on? If not, try switching the two relays under the right side panel. I assume your starter is crankin the engine, that would at least indicate that the main fuse is all right. If not, the fuse is located inside the starter relay. Are you familiar with reading an electric schematic? There is a good schematic in the user manual. If not, your welcome to call me, Anders. You'll find my number through Eniro.,,,

Whats wrong when your riding and the bike starts cutting out, backfiring, then just goes dead?

The first thing that you can check is the fuel pump, wiring and fuel filter. The power wires coming from the ignition, sometimes get corroded. the symptoms sounds like fuel starvation.

This not your typical DIY task, it does cost that much to go to Ac re gasser and get system checked and filled correctly. There are restrictions on gases like freon .

Hi, I have a 2006 gas gas ec300 and it has done 90 hours of trail riding. Should I be looking to replace piston and rings? It still starts 1st kick and seems to run perfect. Thanks go the gasser

Be sure to change the piston and rings sometime around two years from now, but only if you want to. So long as the engine doesn't seize up due to lack of oil in the gas, the piston and rings should last for years. Please rate my answer.

Auto hubs stop working on 2001 f 250 4x4 works win lock

The auto hubs are controlled by vacuum either from your engine if you have a gasser or by the vacuum pump located on the passenger side of your truck on fender inside engine compartment if you have a diesel. First item is a question. are you having any problems with your vents in your truck? If yes and you have a diesel. chances are your vacuum pump is not working. If you have a gasser you may have the same problem with vents not opening rightas well. You need to trace all your lines for a break in the line somewhere. They route on the right side of the engine down and accross the cross member. If your diesel pump is working and making vacuum then you need to check for routing breakage just like the gasser. The lines are small black lines that almost look like wires. There will be small connectors on them so you will be able to pull them apart and see that they are vacuum lines. They go all the way down and hook to your spindles so you can also back trace them to make sure you have the right lines. If you find no problems with the lines then you may have a problem inside the hub. Normally an o-ring leak but sometimes a failure of the hub. Please make sure to let everyone kow how i did for you. On a 2000 ford super duty does the cab have to come off to remove cylinder head

No it does not. Your engine should either be the V8, V10 gasser or the 7.3 ltr diesel. All of these engines have timing and gears in the front side of the engine. The only ones that will need the cab removed or pulling the engine is the trucks equipped with the 6.0 liter engine as they have the gearing on the back side of the engine. These started in 2003 and went until 2007 I believe.

The motorbike starts to backfire and after a while it completely stops as if the battery is overheated

You can trouble shooting it with these methods..
1.check your spark plug.
2. If it is CDI operated, replace it.
3. If it is still Contact Point operated:Check its timing, and if you sure the timing is good but nothing's happened, try to replace the condenser.

Kick Start 07 FSR 450?

It is a little tricky I have an '05 FSE and this is how I do: Slowly kick past TDC on the compression stroke until the camshafts settles in a new position. The engine makes a weird little noise like rotating gears somehow. Return the kick lever to its top position and then take up the slack. Now push it firmly through the entire stroke all the way down to the footpeg. That should do it. I made a video just for all of you who think its impossible,,,
