I'm trying to decide what headlight to get for the ISDE. The stock GasGas one is nice but the bulb is $200! That's way too expensive IMHO. Any ideas? ThanksYou should be able to get Acerbis lights from a dealer nearby as northstarmotosport.com is a distributor out of Vancouver. Maybe this one for $89.95 CDN,,,

Headlight will not stay on?

Hi, Anonymous if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.

02 EC250 speedo

I have the same speedo but it built into the headlight on my 97 Siz Days 250. So it is a GasGas part but I do not really know too much about the parts needs to make it work. Although mine was routed to the rear wheel instead of the front so you might want to see if there is a sensor built into your rear hub. You should be able to go with the newer gasgas speedo setup since your on a 02'. Good luck with it.

Brake light

I am trying to hook up my Acerbis LED tail/brake light to my '01 EC250. I can get the tail light to work but not the brake light. I am running the all stock electrical except for the headlight and tail light are Acerbis units.I guess is if anyone has any experience with this tail light set up? I spent all day trying to figure this puzzle outIf you have the wiring hooked up as described in the previous post try hooking the tail lamp wire up to the brake lamp. Does it work then? If so the brake switch may be defective. If not then either a bad ground or switch. Trace the wiring from the brake switch to the connectors and unplug it. You will need to test it with an ohmeter and see if it is turning on and off as you work the brake. If the switch is working you either have an open wire or the brake light bulb ground is not good.,,
