Question about 2000 Enfield Bullet 350
Ok I have to change the headlight retainer ring for my 7 non lucas headlight. What is the trick to removing and reinstalling the little retainer clips? Those things wont budge for me. Next
If someone can point (pun intended) me in the direct of good instructions on adjusting / checking points that would be great. I am not familiar with working on points at all.Grab one side of the clip with a pair of needle nose pliers and bend it down and out from under the headlight ring holding on to it real well. Do it in a place where you can find it if it gets away from you and wear some glasses. It's easy you just have to do it a few times. Points just loosen the screw that holds the points in place and adjust it up or down to get the proper gap. If you notice there are 2 **** on the points plate and a slot in the points and a screwdriver can be used to adjust it up and down. Don't tighten the screw too hard or you will strip it.,,,

Do not ever touch the quartz bulb with your fingers as fingerprints will etch the glass and cause the bulb to fail prematurely.

Install a new bulb and assemble the headlamp components in the reverse of the removal process. Align the headlight when it is fully installed. When reassembling the headlamp ensure that the slots and tabs in the headlamp, adapter ring, and trim ring are aligned.
