Question about 2002 Ducati Monster S4 Fogarty
Even will turn over a bit once in awhile. At first I thought I was just out of gas the bike had sat overnight and I thought it knew it was really low on fuel but next day it wouldn't start. I put some gas in it and still won't go... Also, during this, I noticed that with the tank propped up, the bottom hose that goes from the tank to the engine is weeping a bit of gas from where it meets the tank. I'm not sure if the line is cracked -- I think this is the return (smaller of the two hoses that go up towards the engine)... Would this cause problems starting?,Do you have spark? Un-kink any lines from the tank when the tank is lowered. Open your gas cap and then re-install and try to start. Three things to run: Ignition, fuel, compression.,,,

You might also want to think about
draining the tank and filling it with fresh fuel. Rather than stripping the
carbs down I would just open up the drains and let the old stuff come out (use
something to catch it). I think I might also use some jump leads and connect it
to your (non-running) car's battery to help with the initial cranking. Also try
the kill switch.
