Question about 2002 Ducati Monster 750 i.e.
I purchased a very cheap 1999 monster with 5k miles. The bike didn't run because it was severely neglected (dented rusty tank
Plugged filters fouled plugs etc.). With some simple TLC the bike is now running pretty strong. The only problem is that it revs very high for a long time before it comes down to a normal idle. If I tip the bike to one side, the idle drops to a normal level. Is something wrong with the carbs? I have no idea what would cause this. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!,Yeah, that would be my first guess. Might want to check the throttle & choke cables too, make sure they aren't gunked up or even hung up something. That's a weird one though ... not something I can easily diagnose over the internet ..,,,
