New procut basket and barnett plates. Had to file the barnett friction plate tangs they all slide but are a tight fit. All plates installed carefully per the Barnett instructions. Started the bike in neutral all fine shifted into 1st clutch in, I feel the bike want to creep forward although just slightly (I can hold it with my feet down). Can't get to neutral again with the clutch in until I shut the bike off. So, just before I go back in and pull a plate out to make the clutch pack smaller, i wondered whether anyone here has had this problem and whether if I ride it like this for a short while whether the clutch pack will settle in and fully disengage?,A too-high overall thickness of the plate stack will cause drag between plates when the clutch is disengaged making it difficult to select neutral when the bike is stopped. The last 2mm steel plate can be interchanged with a 1.5mm curved plate facing away from you if you want to adjust the stack to get the 38mm stack thickness, or if you want a more progressive, soft clutch engagement. A commonly-used substitution that adds an additional spring plate to the stack. Any of the steel 2mm plain plates can be exchanged with 1.5mm plain plates to reduce stack thickness or increase stack thickness as needed to achieve your desired overall height. You will see the need for this as friction plates wear, so keep your steel plates from pervious clutch replacements as spares to be used as height adjustments later. The 2mm and 1.5mm steel plates only need replacing if they’re scored or warped.,,,

I have a mazda bravo 2 wheel drive ute I can start car and press in clutch place in gear and release clutch and take of but then can change into next gear and with foot on clutch the car still moves

This sounds like the clutch, at the engine end, has a problem. The clutch plate might not be releasing correctly. When the engine is Off the clutch isn't spinning so doesn't affect the gear change. You might need to have the clutch replaced.
Your only sensible option is to get a Good Mechanic to remove the gearbox and inspect the clutch parts.
This, unfortunately, will not be a cheap fix.

I have problem with my Nissan terrano 2 mechanical gearbox. It's hard to put to 1st gear. From 1'st to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, are also hard. Is it necessary to change clutch?

not a clutch problem unless you have just done a clutch kit change
more likely a hydraulic clutch problem ( air in the system) or master cylinder needing replacement .
if it is a cable operated clutch , replace the clutch

Loud snapping noise heard when changing gears

From the way you've described it your gear stick linkages maybe on there way out. When changing gear does the car resist getting into gear?

If it's more of a crunching sound then I would try double de clutching, to do this you need to:
change gear as usual but instead of holding down the clutch throughout the gear change hold it down to take the vehicle into neutral then release the clutch then push the clutch down again and change into desired gear.
To change down it's basically the same principal but you push down the clutch to put the vehicle into neutral then push the throttle down just to pitch revs then release the throttle and push the clutch down to change into your desired gear, if it won't go in to gear easily then rather the throttle until it does.

You can go onto youtube and search for double de clutching and I'm sure some results will come up

hope this helps!

Hyundai excel 1996 have to double clutch to change gears

Where is clutch engaging? close to firewall or up high on pedal. If up high, your clutch needs replacing, Low, your clutch is ok, maybe throwout bearing is bad or air in system or not adjusted correctly

After changing transmission and clutch in 91 Wrangler, clutch goes to floor. Tried bleeding line but didn't work.

The clutch should go to the floor =) But if it's not disengaging the clutch disk, there's definitely a problem between the pedal and the clutch disk. I'm guessing you have a hydraulic clutch?

Polaris 330 mag, barely moves in reverse? possible ****** problems??

If the belt has been changed, the button ramps in the secondary clutch should have been checked. The secondary clutch has 3 ramps that tend to wear, and this will wear the clutch out if not replaced right away. To remove the secondary clutch (rear clutch) remove the clutch cover and belt. Remove the bolt from secondary clutch and pull clutch off. The clutch is on a splined shaft so a puller will not be necessary. To check the ramps inside the clutch, rotate the outer sheave clockwise while holding inner sheave stationary. You should be able to see the ramps, if not they have worn completely gone and the clutch will have to be disassembled. Check this and let me know what you find. I will be happy to assist if you need to disassemble the clutch, Daniel.

Clutch slip problem when gears are changed after 4000 rpm

you have 20k miles after the clutch has been changed, now are you used to drving clutch, secondly is it hydraulic or cable controled clutc?

if you are used to drving clutch sys probable cause is defective pressure plate or the throwout bearing is not fully releasing in other words the clutch is partialy applied all the time because of the re;ease bearing not fully releasing!!
