Turn & Tail Signals for '02 900 Sport?

Hi all. I've had the hardest time tracking down turn signals and tail lights for my 2002 900 Sport (bike came w/o them :/). Seems every vendor carries everything but 00-02 Sport parts. After 5 days of internet searching I'm still at a loss. Can anyone recommend the turn and tail signals they've used on their 02 (Super)Sport bikes? That would be a HUGE help! thx!

Unless i'm missing something (very possible) OEM taillights and turnsignals should essentially be the same for anything from 1999 to 2007 Supersport or Sport (750 900 800, and 1000... half fairing or full fairing). I don't think there's anything specifically different about an '02 900 Sport regarding taillights and turnsignals.,,,

Hi, Anonymous tail light issues are relatively easy to diagnose and repair always check the tail light fuse first and make sure you have power on both sides of the fuse holder and the usual suspects are:
1. Tail light bulb element is broken.
2. Tail light bulb soldered contacts are extremely worn down.
3. Tail light bulb socket corroded.
4. Tail light bulb socket has no power and or ground.
5. Tail light wiring harness damaged from the rear tire.
6. Tail light rear fender wiring harness connector faulty due to corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.

Need help puttin on a trailer plug on 2002 suzuki marauder

You can pull all your power from the rear tail light! You'll need a multimeter(Or at least a test light of some sort!) on your adapter you'll have a green, a yellow, a brown and a white wire.
White- is your ground(Find a good clean nut/bolt on your frame)
green- Right turn signal/brake light
yellow- left turn/brake light
Brown- tail lights

What you'll have to do is find the wires for the tail light on your bike, And one by one probe them(with your multimeter/test light) With whichever accessory on(E.G. turn lights on, then probe the wires until you find the one that has power, This will be your tail light wire. same with both of your turn signals and brake light!

I have rear turn signals, but no tail light or running light

Check your tail light wiring because turn signals and tail light wiring is different, there may a chance that turn signals are okay but tail light is not responding or tail light and running lights are responding and turn signals are not okay.

Could be bad brake light switch but turn signals involved so? Has to be bad ground.Light sockets corroded bad wiring thru fender mounting bolts in tail light assembly broke but corroded in place, not a good ground.Has to be simple cause bike runs.

Rear tail light does not turn on.1998 suzuki 1500 intruder

It mught be the bulb that needs replacing or else check the wiring to the bulb for continuity in case there is a broken or snapped bit.If you have a voltmeter then you can test the voltage reading at the point of contact..Sometimes rust builds up and a simple cleaning would solve this.Hope this helps.

I just buoght a 2002 r6 and the kid that had it put diffrent turn signals on and they both bling when you turn the right turn signal on

Something is grounding out.
If I had to guess I would say between the tail light and the connectors under the seat. it is pretty exposed and easy to rub bare so that it will ground out. here is a diagram for you..
