Rack I have a Darmah and would like to find a decent rack or rack design for it. Does anyone have a design or a photo of one that doesn't look too hideous?

Way back in the eighties when I had a Darmah I fitted a small rack off a BMW K-series on the ducktail. It wasn't huge but it allowed me to carry stuff and tie it down and so on. Don't know if that helps but maybe a wrecker has an old K?,,

Spark Plugs Fouling

this might b out of price range but new carbs and electronic ignition will still have to tune also, or get the carbs ultrasonic cleaned then set up to factory specs will be a good starting point

Backfire carb

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. A severely drained battery.
2. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Faulty main circuit breaker and or connections.
4. Faulty ignition coil and or connections.
5. Faulty spark plug, oil or gas fouled, wrong heat range or service type, wrong gap, loose in the cylinder head, broken electrode or insulator.
6. Faulty spark plug cables, leaking or broken, internal damage.
7. Faulty ignition module, switch, CKP, MAP, CMP, sensor and or any connector in the ignition circuit could have corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets
8. Burnt exhaust valve or air leak in the exhaust system.

What is the difference between Suzuki part # 990A0-75002 and 990A0-75066? Both are luggage racks. I am looking for one for 06 C50.

It appears that the two racks just have slightly different designs by looking at the photos here and here. That still does not tell us which one is which though. Either will fit your 2006 C50, but it appears you must also have a backrest to mount the rack to.

I know you said you don't want to remove the front wheel but here are a couple of options for that if you're interested: http://www.yakima.com/racks/bike-racks/p... http://www.hurricanecomponents.com/press... If you don't want to remove the front wheel then you'll need to use a type of rack that has the hook arm or cradles to hold the bike. Thule makes a version of the T2 for truck beds....it's pretty nice. Or just use a hitch rack....the T2, Yakima, and Saris are all pretty decent and it's a snap to load and unload the bikes. They're all in the $320-$360 range, but it's a good investment.,,,
