750 decals I have just bought a 97 750ss... I think the decals are from an earlier model. Can anyone tell/show me what they should look like?

Fairing is from a later bike looks like FE fairings with the side air inlet and the decals are definitely not stock and I would guess custom made. Do a google search for images of your bike and you can see stock. Other than the Dunlop decal on the seat, (what happens if you use Michelins?) it looks fine IMHO.,,,

1978 Suzuki GS 1000, need manual would like to download it, anyone have anything free

The best I can offer is a 1980 GS1000. Ninety eight percent of the 1980 manual applies to your 1978 bike. The biggest differences are in fenders, gas tank, decals, trim and seat designs. Go to the site below for a free download.

Hi, I am a girl who like to work on bikes and I recently bought a disassembled Kawasaki Zephyr 750, I think its a 1991 model. Where can I find a Service manual or any instructions to assemble it, please...

You may find what you want at this site, but if not, Google "1991 Kawasaki Zephyr 750 motorcycle manual". There are plenty for sale.

I need a owners manual for a 2006 gsx-r 750 will a 2005 be the same

Certainly close enough to be perfectly okay. Usually only cosmetic changes are present; decals, shape of a fender, new paint colors, etc.

Toppfairing (part that windscreen is attached to)

U won't find a new OEM one. Look on ebay for used. Airtech (they don't ship outta US tho) and beaseley r 2 of a number of aftermarket manufacturers who make replacements. Look for a product called plastex if your going the try to repair your current one.

Will a Vance & Hines Supersport Exh from a FZR750 work on a 1000

I don't know if separate headers were available, but if you can get the pipes to fit and seal so there is no noisy blow-by, any loss in performance would hardly measure.

Please rate this solution. Thanks!

Chain Size

Go to a web site like and pick the make year and model of your bike to see the part diagrams. Find the drive chain page and it will usually tell the size of the chain.

Cant tell what year

The 10th digit in the VIN denotes what the year of the bike is. (as long as it is a 1981 to present) * Beginning in August 1964 - 1980 a system went into effect that included vehicle model and year within the production serial number. This system defined the first two digits to indicate the model, the third digit indicates the year, with the fourth through tenth digits now defining the actual serial number. If you call GDL Cycles they can help you. 1-888-707-2787 they also have a service manual available for the Suzuki GS750

Possible to use 750 SS slipons on 900 SS?

I found some pipes that I'm interested in and am wondering if anyone can tell me if they'll work/fit correctly. I've done a bunch of searching but can't find the info for sure. I'm trying to use both low and high Termi slipons that are carbie 750SS specific on my 900SS/FE header. I've heard that there may be a diameter difference and possibly a length mounting or angle difference that will cause problems but I can't find anything that says for sure any differences or measurements. Anyone done this? There must be a difference for there to be two part #'s, but I can't figure out what they are. Thanks in advance for the input!,I think there are some dimensional differences in the headers as I think the 750 engine is a bored out 600, therefore physically smaller than the 900, but I would think most slip ons are interchangeable for both models.,,,
