Exhust My Cagiva Raptor 125cc has a split in the exhaust just after the box going right round the circumference of the pipe. I am going to get an arrow exhaust in a few weeks so just need a temporary repair until I have the cash for the new exhaust. I've been looking and there are lots of products on the market - Halfords do an exhaust repair kit and Holts seem to have several options. Which is the best to go for?
Some exhaust gunk a beer can and some wire the halfords exhaust repair kit (the one with the length of metal and a thing to tighten it up) worked ok for a while on my zxr untill i got a new exhaust.,

exhausts are a dark art.......to gain maximum power ..they will need to be of a tuned length...and of certain diameter at certain points....
if your having them made by a reputible(sp) companythey should be abe to get you in the right ball park...
take into consideration groung clearance etc,
