Question about 2006 Buell Lightning XB12Scg
Posted on Dec 27, 2016
Then when i got to a red light about a 5 miles from work i smelled burning rubber. I pulled over and the cable that runs down the front of the motor melted because that little twisted wire that was supose to hold it in place broke for no reason and let the cable hit the headers? Would replacing this be under warranty or not b/c I have read on here of the same problem? There's a new clip out to hold the clutch cable into place. I would try and get that done under warranty. They know it's a weak spot and it's a bit soon for the clip to break within a year. ,
