Im just wondering if anyone has ever had the problem of their clock resetting. It goes to 1:00 everytime i start my bike. The battery is good and has plenty of power to start the bike right up. It must be the clock loses power after shutting it off or during startup any suggestions would be great.Mine used to do that too. I removed and replaced the battery op check good.  My guess is that the starter would drop the voltage down to an unsustainable level for the clock to remember the time. Have your battery checked.,,,

Loss of power on startup, clock reset. Not all the time.

Check the condition of your battery. Give it a proper overnight charge (not just on an optimate) and if no joy get a new battery.

Good luck

Honda VFR800 Fi 2000 W Reg LCD clock problem

The problem is usually a weak battery. When cranking, it pulls down the system so much that the clock resets. Try puting the batt on a charger and start the bike to see if the clock resets with a steady feed of voltage.

Setting the clock

You need to hold down both the reset and the select buttons until the clock starts flashing. Then push the select button to adjust the hour. Then push the reset button to make the minutes start flashing, push the select button to adjust the minutes. Once you have the time set correctly, push the reset button one more time. You should be done.
