Started my bike and tried pushing out of its parking spot and it was super hard to push. I look at the rear tire and what do you know it's flat. I only have 2275 on my bike and still have some pretty big chicken strips. I checked the whole tire and there is no sign of puncture, cracks or damage of any kind. I called the dealership and they want $359 to pick it up and fix it.  I rode it yesterday afternoon and it was fine. I havn't checked to see if it hold air yet. I still need a air compressor.,check the valve stem, if the valve stem is bad then you can just replace that and pump it up. Go to the nearest place that does tires and ask how to tell if a valve stem is bad and how much it would be to fix it. Shouldn't be much. Maybe $20 and only takes a few minutes.,,,

I have a Mongoose Maneuver with flat tires. The bike hasn't been ridden in awhile. Do I need new tubes or just need air in the tires? The bike is 14-15 yrs old and has original tubes. Thanks.

If the bike was ridden with flat tires, then go for new tubes. If it was stored outside all that time, then go for new tubes AND tires. If it was out of the sun and not in a hot attic all that time, then just re-inflate. Good luck.

I have just bought a new tire for my windstar ( With mags) The tire that i had purchased went flat after 24 hrs. What is the problem?

Could be a couple things, I'd look at either a bad valve stem or to see if the bead is leaking. Take a spray bottle with some soapy water in it and spray it on the valve stem and all along the inside and outside beads. If you see bubbling anywhere that's where the air is leaking out. Any chance you may have run over a nail or something on the way home?

Flat spots on tire

This could be one of three things , either you have an alignment issue , bad suspension parts or just the lack of tire rotation. If the flat spots are at an angle from outside edge to inside edge then the problem is with your rear struts. If the flat spots are either on the out side edge or inside edge then the you have an alignment issue. If the flat spot are consistent all around the tire then you have a tire balance issue or bad rear struts.

Feels like I'm running over rumble strips. Happens intermittently

When was the last time your wheels where spin balanced? Have the tires checked for wheel balance its probably out of balance. It will cause the tires to cup and it will make flat spots on the tires. To check rubb your hand over tire make sure tires don't have cupping on the outside tread and or flat spots through out the tire. Cupping - one tread is slightly higher than the rest.
Flat spots- center of tire will be flat or it could be all over the tire.

Flat Tire Monitor

well it could be a slow leak in your tire however it can also be because of the temperature change.I have seen many of times that tpms lights have come on and only 1 tire would be low.It only takes aproximately 3 pounds of difference in tire pressure to set the light on.You may also check your spare tire also they have sensors too.

The outside cover? Can you see the lug nuts? If it is just the outside cover just use a tire iron or crowbar and gent;y pry it off. If you can see lug nuts then proceed and take em off, following safety procedures.

At 1500 miles the front end was in need of alignment and the outside edge of the front tires were wearing down excessively. We took to the dealer and they aligned it When I went to rotate the tires at 5500...

once a were pattern is worn in tire s unless you rotate tires to the rear they will keep wearing you should rotate your tires every oil change especially if you do alot of around town driving i am willing to bet you that good year lied to you about the alignment i am sure the dealer put it into spec the first time you just need to rotate them a little more often
