I'm gonna go with theory #2 sort of. My guess is that one or more of the float valves is leaking causing the gas to overflow into the crankcase. This happens often with bikes that are allowed to sit for long periods with gas in the carbs and tank. A thorough fuel system cleaning is what it needs. I'd say go ahead and buy four carb rebuild kits for it - may as well since you'll have to disassemble the carbs to clean the gum and varnish out, which is really the best thing for it at this point. I wouldn't try to run it again 'til you get the carbs to quit leaking, the fuel drained out of the crankcase and put fresh oil in. ,,,

Gas and oil squirting into air box

First of all, there should be no gas/oil mixture on this bike. If it is a crankcase breather and it has gas coming out of it then it means that gas has ran into your engine and diluted the oil. Check the oil and if this is the case then drain and change immediately. As for the gas getting into the crankcase; if you have a float stuck in the open position in your carburetor the gas freely runs through it, then into the cylinder where it then leaks past the piston and into the case. I hope you engine isn't filled with gas but it sounds like it is. If this is what happened then the oil change will fix your problem. If so, take the carburetors apart and make sure the needles and seats are clean and move freely to prevent it from happening again.

Xj600s diversion 1996, oil in the airbox? Why?

First check to see if the oil level in your crankcase is too high. If you have a vacuum petcock malfunction (hole in the diaphragm) or if the fuel petcock is left in the prime position and a float needle sticks, then you get you get gas running into the cylinders, past the rings, and into the oil.
When you start your motorcycle the oil/gas mixture has no place to go, the crankcase is too full, and the mixture exits through the crankcase breather into the air box where it will ruin a paper air filter. Always turn your fuel petcocks off when not driving. If the petcock diaphragms are bad rebuild the petcock with K&L rebuild kits or replace the fuel petcocks with new ones. If the float needles in the carburetors are bad or sticking, take the carburetors apart, clean them, and replace any worn or damaged parts You will have to change your gasoline saturated oil for it will no longer properly lubricate your motor.

I agree ,I think you have a crankcase breather problem.Check the air cleaner tube that runs to the top of the motor , the vent in the head, and where the breather enters the air box is all clear.

Hi Berkberks, oil leaking from your air cleaner is caused by oil carryover from the engine. For what ever reason the breather system is not seperating enough oil mist and air from the piston downstroke. There are cheap and quick easy fixes and there are more exspensive ones. Start by trying the following:
1. Run your oil level half way between the add and full mark when hot.
2. Run oil breather lines from head into a TEE fitting below carb/induction module then a single line into a mini filter under frame.
3. Purchase Arlen Ness Super Sucker.
4. Replace umbrella valves and realign oil pump
5. Upgrade oil pump and cam plate
Good luck

Sparkpluge get oiled while running

First, check the engine oil level to make sure the crankcase is not over-filled with oil. Then locate the crankcase breather vent tube. This is a rubber tube, about 1/2" (13mm) in diameter that goes from the crankcase to the air cleaner box. Or, on your bike, it may just go to beneath the engine and vent into the atmosphere. In either case, make sure this tube is not kinked or blocked by anything.
If the above items check out okay, then the only other cause of your oiled spark plug would be worn out piston rings and/or valve guides. Basically, a top end teardown and inspection will be needed.

After warming up my suzuki 750 gsx leaks a oil/fuel mixture out of the air cleaner

You need to service the crankcase breather system. Basically, this means taking apart and cleaning all the goo out of the area where the crankcase breather tube goes into the air box. Also check the air filter for oil saturation and replace if needed - and clean any accumulated oil from the inside of the air filter box.

Oil come out the air cleaner

Too much crankcase pressure or the breather pipe is split/dosconnected. The crankcase breather goes into the rear of the air filter and the crankcase gasses are drawn in to the cylinder with the gas/air mixture and burned
