You shouldn't have to tell him anything unless you have a problem with something. If it's just routine maintenance he should know what to do.if there's anything your not happy about with your bike tell him so he can check it out.

Where would one go to obtain a mechanical fitness for a motorcycle?

The dealer would probably be one of the best choices - but also probably one of the most costly. It would be wise to check out customer reviews of the dealer's service department (not sales). You may also find a local garage that specializes in motorcycle repairs, too.

Changing engine oil for motorcycle

Go to the nearby mechanic. If bike has covered more than 1000km with out change of engineoil tell him for engine oil replacement along with oil filter. Tell him to do it in front of you to learn.

Why won't my cruise control work on my 2003 R 1200 CL.

Hi, Artswaff for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Stater is running but not engaging

Hi, Anonymous the starter drive/Bendix is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. For more information about your issue, please visit the websites below. Ignition, when you take barrel out, and the wiring part on back

Go to the site below and you can download a free service manual for your bike. Now you can do more than ever before. For the ignition switch, Google " motorcycle salvage gilera ". You can probably get an entire switch there for cheap.
