Put a new rotor and ebc fa216/3 brake pads on now brake drags

Have you bled the brakes and did you clean the caliper? When you replace Brake pads you need to remember that there was more brake fluid needed with the worn pads.

Brake

Moisture will cause all kinds of wild brake noises. Have the brakes acted up since your ride where you experienced the problem? If not, I would take a quick look at pad thickness to make sure all is well and attribute the problem to moisture. If you do need pads, I'd recommend the OEM pads. I truthfully don't know much about the other brands you mention, but OEM is usually a very good choice when it comes to brake components. With aftermarket, you may well end up wit hmore noise than you have now. Regarding the Valvoline fluid - You really should contact Valvoline regarding the mixing of their synthetic product into your system. Even though you'll be displacing the old fluid with new fluid, you'll never get ALL of the old fluid out. As such, you need to be sure the synthetic is 100% chemically compatible with your existing DOT 4. Truthfully, if you flush the system with standard DOT 4, it should be fine. If you were running a racer, that would be a different story.
