headlight bulbs typically install from the backside of the light assembly. You will have to remove body work, panels etc. to access tha back of the headlight, pull back the rubber boot and usually a spring wire clip is hinged across the bulb holding it in place. un clip the wire and replace the bulb.

Can I replace the 18w headlight bulbs with 25w bulbs in my CBR 150?

The honda cbr125r's have two 35/35w bulbs and are used in a headlight unit with a plastic reflector. If your headlight looks like a 125's, I would imagine it should accomadate them. I would however steer clear of halogens or xenon bulbs, unless you know someone who has used them for a long time with no melting of the wires or the reflector. I have been sold 25/25w bulbs for my own bike in the past and thought they were pretty feeble, so I can only imagine that night driving for yourself must be pretty exciting.

I am trying to change the front marker bulb on 1986 goldwing 1200, it is beside the headlight. Does anyone know how to get it out?

you have to remove the head lights as a set the maker light are part of the assemble. remove the grill just below the lights, under that remove the 2, 6mm bolts. on the top pop the bezel panel loose by pulling out on the bottom off it just above the headlight, remove the 2, 6mm bolts there and the entire headlight assemble will come out. hope this helps get your problem solved. How do you remove the headlight bulb

1. Remove headlight unit
2. Disconnect headlight leads
3. Remove bulb cover
4. Remove headlight bulb holder
5. Remove headlight bulb
6. Install new headlight bulb - DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART OF THE BULB!
7. Install headlight bulb holder
8. Install bulb cover
9. Connect headlight leads
10. Install headlight unit

I'm not aware of any shortcuts, nor do I believe that any steps could be changed or eliminated without re-engineering the headlight unit.

Headlight question

and the headlight would burn when i got it but two days after i got it it quit burning. all other lights on it burn fine but the headlight. i bought a new bulb thinking maybe it burned out, but that didn't work either. before i bought my battery, i was jumping it off with my vehicle battery, could this have messed it up in some way, but not the other lights? i checked the fuses, and they are not blown either. anyone have any suggestions, on what i could try, please let me know.,ok, i checked the ingnition switch all was good there, well, i feel kind of stupid Laughing , it was a fuse, i checked it, but it looked perfect, like new, well i decided after tring several other things to go back to it, and change it anyway, and well it worked. but now i have another problem, any one who can help please do. it gets hot, if i keep it at one speed it is ok, but if you get into it, and work the engine a little, it gets hot, kind of like the water pump isn't working. any one have this problem before? if so let me know what fixed it, and anyone who may have any ideas of what to check, let me know. thanks to all.,,,
