I want to remove my disks to properly clean the buttons. They are mounted to the wheel using rounded chromed nuts with 5mm allen key holes. I tried using my 4 inch allen wrench and a) was not able to budge them and b) feared rounding off the bolt if I twisted any harder. One option is to attach a breaker bar to the allen wrench but I fear that will just allow me to mess the bolts up easier. They may be held in with extra locktite or may have some corrosion in there as well. I could also try an impact wrench, but the one I have is sitting in a garage 3500 miles away. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. ,Go buy a decent 3/8 drive hex key socket.Get the right tool to break the bolts before creating problems. while you're at it, buy the set, comes in real handy more often than you might think. I use a set like these. http://cgi.ebay.com/PRO-QUALITY-10pc...d=p3286.c0.m14 Get some like this and a regular set too. ,,,

Should be just 1 on the left side.

There shouldn't be a caliper mount on the right hand fork slider tube.

I just wanted know can low brake pads make your motorcyle shake in the front maybe i was going between 35mph or 40mph and it shimmied like it felt like the wheel was going to fall off, when i applied the...

A warped brake disk or loose disk can cause a shimmy or "pulsing" in the front wheel. Check by gently applying the front brake. Feel a pulse or hear the pads repeatedly rub then release? Obviously, the disk run-out can be checked with a dial gauge but most owners don't have one. Ignore the brakes for a moment and check the wheel, wheel cylinder and disk mountings. Are they tight? Are the wheel bearings solid, does the wheel have lateral play? Does the steering stem have any movement, i.e. bad or loose stem bearings? Low pads should not cause your problem. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

WEAK FRONT BRAKE - new liquid, new brakepads; no

if you replaced the pads and not the disk/disks, the pads will need some time to wear in to the surface shape of the disk. also if the disk is glazed at all, they'll be really weak.
