How do you lower a aprilia pegaso 650

Hi, Laura here are some options for lowering your bike depending on your needs and wallet:
1. Rear shock lowering kit.
2. Front fork lowering kit.
3. Shorter rear shocks.
4. Shorter front forks.
5. Thinner padded seat.
6. Lower profile tires.
Please be aware that some of these options or a combination of options will require a shorter kickstand or your stock one modified. For more information about your issue, please visit the websites below. Good luck and have a nice day.

Aprilia 650 pegaso strata fuel pump problem

Gidday from New Zealand!!!! did anyone find a way to resolve this problem? I took my pump in to the workshops and their was two other Aprilia pumps there ( one was from another Strada 650) with the same fuel starvation symptoms. I have changed my filter twice in the bikes 46000km, the contamination reminded me of black rubber, could this be from the pump? Look forward to hearing from anyone. Thanks

Aprillia Pagaso efi stutter at 2 to 3000 rp. This causes jerky throttle response especially around town and I think adds to the high fuel usage.

Jerky fuel injection is a known problem on this model. You should be able to sort it with a PowerCommander, or get used to it - I was going to get one but after a couple thousand miles I harly notice it any more so didnt bother.

How can I reset the service light on my aprilia pegaso strada.

DIAGNOSIS
This menu interfaces with the systems fitted to the
motorcycle to carry out diagnosis. To enable the menu, a
password is needed that is available only to aprilia service
centres.
• Insert the service code
It is a 5 digit code, for Pegaso the code is: 25973
If code is wrong, appears the message:
• Incorrect code
The instrument panel goes back to main menu; if not, the
menu appears:
• EXIT
• ECU ACTUATIONS
• ECU PARAMETERS
• ECU ERRORS
• DASHBOARD ERRORS
• DELETE ERRORS
• SERVICE RESET
• DISCONNECT
• UPDATE
• UPDATE KEYS
• KM / MILES
Once the operation is over, the instrument panel goes back
to main menu.

Wind Buffeting ?

I am about 6 foot and I have no problems with wind buffeting on my pagaso Perhaps it is also depending on what helmet you use. I use a Nolan N101 which works fine for me.

Mounting a Green Light trigger on pagaso 650

be pointed UP instead of down ripe for being stolen etc... 2. On the lowest part underbelly. Given that my sump guard is thick metal I didn't think it would trip the trigger (plus you had to ride INTO the intersection if it was that far on your bike). 3. I ended up trying it INSIDE the left side grate (glued to the rubber backing). Trips most of the lights here (angled down AND forward is key), but seems to have begun to wander. Not sure if it's a glue/rubber backing issue, or if the engine heat warms it enough that it gets soft when riding?? Before I break out the Zip ties, I figured I'd see if anyone has come up with a better location or mounting method. (see pic) Ideas? They do offer a plastic box w/ziptie for $15+ shipping...,I gotta get me one of those...I had one on my ST1100 and it seemed to work at most lights. How about mounting it on the bottom of the aluminum plate with heavy duty velcro? If its not too heavy, I think it would hold. Just have to check it once in a while. I tried to get mine as low to the ground as possible. ,,,

Pagaso 650

relaxed comfortable reliable economic bike with good weather protection and ABS (essential). Able to deliver on busy motorway and through the jungle of London traffic. I'm not bothered if some sportsbiker can go round a bend 10 milliseconds faster than me, good luck to him, but I do want to be able to assert authority if some cage-bound boy racer starts messing about. I run up 30k miles a year and expect my machine to get to 100k miles without real problem. I do my own maintenance & minor fixes are not an issue. So, knowing what you know about your pagaso would you buy the pasago if you were me? I don't expect the answer is black and white but would value your opinion - you guys seem like a pragmatic bunch, realistic about your ride... not like some other forums I could mention.,Asking that question here is a bit like asking the pope if you should become a catholic..... Do you plan to ride it in Winter on the UK's salt encrusted roads. If so, and unless you wash it every day, it will look very shabby, very quickly. This is true of many bikes, but I think the pagaso is not good in this respect. The previous owner of mine took it through one winter - its got more corrosion that I think is accepatble. ,,,
