Hi everyone19000 mls and the right hand side front wheel bearing is completely trashedflat bearings crumbling and totaly vapourised bearings. yes i do powerwash the bike occassionally, and i do torque the front wheel spindle to the correct numbers, the left hand bearing is OK,this is the second time the right hand bearing has failed, this time more dramatic than the 1st,no warning,no rusty watermarks, Still only £20 for new bearings and seals what the hell, nothing else has gone wrong, and she still rattles the rev-limiter. ,Here's a tip to make your bearing last a bit longer - applies to all bikes - remove the black rubber seal using a fine bladed screw driver, carefully prising it out from the centre. Practise on the old bearing first. Once the rubber seal is off just look a see how much (or how little) grease the manufacturers put in there - add some good qualilty grease. pop back the seals and fit. May have do both sides Works for dirt bikes and especailly if you pressure wash your bike. ,,,

Front end vibration and grinding sound

1st step is check the wheel bearings and the speedo drive if applicable to your model. Make sure the speedo drive tab is in the notch on disk, lube the cable.
Wheel bearing end play needs to be checked, clean and check the bearings or replace bearings, races and seals...again, be sure to check bearing end play to specs

It could be the bearings in the front wheel or a fault with the front suspention.
But it sounds like the front wheel bearing has worn down, so it's loose which makes the wheel not rotate correctly. It may only need one bearing replaced or both.

Front end feels rubbery, ive tried new tire, fork bearings, progressive springsm w/15wt oil, even ties a different set of forks. wheel bearings in front and rear have no play, rear swingarm does not have...

You mention front and rear wheel bearings have no play, but have you replaced them? I do remember part customers replacing the wheel bearings on the gl1200 at about 10,000 mile intervals because of what you describe. You do not mention the miles on the motorcycle but I think that if you replace the front and rear wheel bearings you will notice a huge difference in how your Gl1200 handles. I do not think it will be necessary to do anything with the final drive bearings. Remember to regrease the spline on the final drive with Moly60 grease before reinstalling the rear wheel. I have replaced the wheel bearings on my GL1000 ( around 125,000 miles) several times and handling always improves.

To fit front wheel bearings honda xr 125

Support the bike. Remove front axle nut and remove the axle, releasing the front wheel. Using a flat screwdriver, remove the rubber seals. Use a blunt object that will fit through the axle hole along with a hammer to drive each of the 2 bearings out from the back side. Work by tapping lightly and working around the bearing a little at a time until it pops out. Replace each of the bearings in a similar fashion, working slowly and carefully until the first bearing is in. Install the center bearing spacer tube and install the other bearing. Next replace the dust seals and reinstall the wheel.

How 2 get out front wheel bearings

Buy the lock nut socket, make one out of some plumbing pipe, or machine a piece of metal to spin the locking ring out of the wheel. Take a punch, push the bearing spacer off to the side, and tap the bearing out from the opposite side using the hammer and punch. The bearing will push out the seal. flip the wheel over and tap out the other side. Use an old bearing to protect the new one when installing.
