I'm still looking for a Scarabeo 200. I'm in the SF Bay Area. Funny thing happened at a restuarant the other night a gent pulls up riding a 4 year old Aprilia Atlantic 200. I expressed interest in scooters and the next thing out of him was Want to buy it? Short story is that it has 5000 miles on it. He's the original owner. Said he's done all the service himself, which after quizzing him about it further amounted to changing the oil every 1,000 miles. No problems, just wanted to buy a new scooter. His asking price was $3500. Kelly Blue Book rates a 2004 Atlantic to be worth $1800, so his price seems very inflated. Plus the fact that a brand new Scarabeo 200 can be had for $3399 plus tax and prep. Would a fair counter-offer be $1800?,yes possibly soo ..lemme ask you youre obviously not trying to fly under dmv radar lookin at over 50 cc bikes. why you wanna stay so small why not 4-500 cc near same mileage when not beating on it and plenty of power when needed? btw.... i paid 2000 $ us for a o3 beo 150, 7 months or so ago i couldnt find one anywhere without piles for shipping/delivery and mine was 1 owner under 2800 miles and twas in near mint cond adult owned..ive this thing about buyin new vehicles .. and isnt the atlantic a lil wheel scoot like 13-14 on it ??,,,

Aprilia atlantic 500 front shocks has been sealed twice, after 2-3 months started leaking again always on the rightside. Don't know what to do? I've spent 200 dollars each time.

Hi, Wilbur that's not good the problem is you probably have small almost invisible scratches on the fork tube where the seal rides or the chrome is wearing off if they were plated your only option is to buy a new fork tube or have your old one polished depending on price for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below. Just replaced pads front and rear. Bled system but front remains poor, and no back break at all. This is on a aprilia atlantic 125cc with assisted breaking

find the bolt that attatches the brake line to the master cylinder. crack that bolt loose and use it just like a bleeder until you see no more air coming out

Atlantic 200 Will Not Start

While installing a hid ballast for my low beam today I shorted out the fuse controlling the headlights and instrument panel. I replaced the fuse and now the bike will not start. Headlights instrument panel and everything else works fine on the bike and it tries to turn over but no go. I tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and also charging/jumping the thing off my big truck but nothing. Anybody have an idea what the problem is? ,Check the plug like above says, read a review and the guy had it break down during the review, turned out the plug wire was attached to the frame, but engine acts as swing arm so it pulled it off when he hit a bump. Otherwise i would worry about perhaps an inline fure to the fuel injection or something. You need spark, air, and fuel. You're obviously getting air, there was nothing to change that. So check spark and then fuel. Does the exhaust smell rich like it's flooding when you try to start it? If not i would guess fuel, if it does go for spark. Good luck.,,,

What gas should I use

but at least they don't have ethanol in it (yet). I think the octane is 87. Works great - no pinging good power easy starts and mileage seems right on. How about you other 200 Scarabeo owners? What gas are you using. ,Chevron plus - 89,,,

Derestricted Atlantic 125

The only way that 125's are usually restricted is through the exhaust. Theres usually some for of washer or something in there that restricts the exhaust that you can dremel out.
