Cranecams camshafts valve springs and retainers cold air intake light weight pully'sapexi catback, dc headers...etc... the problem i have is with my ecu, Its a stock pr4 non vtec ecu, i want to widen the powerband...i want higher rpm range...more like the 8,200 to 8,500 rpms instead of the 6500 redline....yea i know this sux, what kinda ecu upgrades are available for this Pr4...yes i have posted on forums but it seems like forever before i get a response...ooh yea will a cheap *** ebay chip satify my needs temporarly for higher rpms ,hate to break it to ya but just cuz your ls can be spun to 8500rpm doesnt mean it will make power up there or last longer than a couple months. if you want to run that rpm range you should look into a b16. the ls has a horrible rod/stroke ratio and 8500rpm would destroy that motor with a little time... or the weak ls rod bolts will break and you'll shoot a rod out your block. the stock redline is there for a reason, you dont need to go past it until you have some real mods.. forged rods, forged pistons, arp rod bolts and head studs.. even a sleeved block. swap in a b16b and take that thing to 9000rpm all day. but if you want to raise it a little, like 7000rpm, find someone with a chip burner, have them socket your ecu and burn a close to stock map with a raised rev limiter... or take out the rev limiter and have a ball. ,,,

suggest the first thing you do, is to pull the codes off the ECM, and go from there...more than likely it's a TPI, idle sensor or fuel pump relay thats dirty or sticking thats causeing the problem...
Your local AutoZone can perform the scan and explain the results to of charge.
Good luck, hope this helps, please rate me a fixya.

Acura Integra ID

there should be a sticker around the driver door that will tell you. if that fails you can always write the VIN down and search it most times the basic info is free (ie: make/mode/MFG year)
