2002 Harley Davidson FLSTC - FLSTCI Heritage Classic Logo

I have an 04 heritage battery checked out fine - no headlights only dash lights and front fender and won't start even with a jump - completely dead. What could it be?

Could a bad ignition or one of the relay switches cause it?

SOURCE: fuel light

Soundsa like computer problem.Hooking up new battery created a fault code.Check for faults an check manual for how to reset.Bet the code says fuel fault and will direct how to reset.Hope that helps.

I have a Harley fatboy and I had the same problem, I found that the switch itself was the problem, I replaced the switch and all is good again

SOURCE: HD 1200 XL Nightster,

I don't know a lot about the electronics on the newer bikes. I work on older stuff but it sounds like the security system has nailed you. That would be my best guess.

Good luck

I have a problem with a 2008 Dodge Charger, my battery went bad and I had to jump it off to take it and get a new battery put in but now my new battery won't start my car not even when the new battery...

When you jump started the vehicle, it started as normal and you drove to a shop to have a new battery installed.?? Correct??

1. Who removed the old battery and installed the new one?

2. Did the car start normally immediately after the new battery was fitted? How frequently were you able to drive the car on the new battery before the problem you described appeared?

3. Has anything been done to the vehicle since the new battery was fitted.?

I have a 1990 sx corolla the car won't start the reds on the dash don't even appear but my headlights work and the blinkers the battery is fine and i just changed the altinator what else could

If the warning lights do not come on and the car will not start, I would guess the key switch has failed or a major fuse is blown.
I would check the fuses first, then for power at the key switch.

04 jeep grand cherokee won't start just drags,

Could be a failing starter or problems with the cables.
A dead cell in the battery will do it too.

Battery is new, engine won't turn over.

The voltmeter should only go as high as 14-15 volts when the engine is running. I would check for a poor connection between the battery and starter.

Won't start

There could be a short in or near the ignition switch.
