Got into my car yesterday, ran to town did some errons, when I turned my car off, went inside then back out, went to start my car, sounds like it is going to start but wont completly turn over. Tried to get a jump, nope. After about a half our, i tried again, started. Drove an hour and a half, turned off to test the battery, battery is fine, car will not turn over all the way. Waited about 2 hours, started no problem, drove parked, turn off and back on, fine. came back started it to move it, started fine. came back to take it somewhere, started fine. What is going on?

If the starter is turning the engine, try re-setting the security system (leave key on till light stops blinking.) If the starter does not turn, you may have some success in re-setting system, if not you need to check battery voltage and voltages in starter system till you find the problem...can be something as simple as a bad connection at the battery. If you need help with further testing, just ask.

I have the same car, a few weeks ago on the way home from work the car just quit, i had it towed to my garage and the next morning i called the mechanic and he wanted to know what was wrong with it as he got in and it started right away. He found out it was the crank position sensor that had to be replaced cars been fine ever since.

THE FUEL PUMP GOT TO RUN FOR 3 SECONDS WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY ON , MAKE SURE IT RUNS LISTEN IN THE TANK. IF IT DON'T YOU NEED A COMPUTER......DID YOU CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER ??CHECK IT....

Had test ran today...they told me it was not the starter or the alternator or again not the battery. guess my next step we will check the fluids. Any other suggestions? I had a security issue a few months back, had to change the ignition...now have to have the vehicle in reverse to turn the vehicle off... but this has not been an issue. No other issues that I know of.
Alright, checked fluids...no antifreeze, put antifreeze and no leak stuff in the radiator, drove for a half hour and turned the vehicle off and would not start again? So even though they said the starter was fine would you then go with replacing the starter?
