How to charge honda scooter battery

use an AC to DC Inverter for 12V.
Then connect the "+" from inverter to "-" of the battery, the "-" of inverter to "+" of battery.

dont forget to user Multitester / multimeter to check whether the battery is fully charged or not.

actually, to do the simplest way to charge it, you can do it by warming up the engine at least 5 - 10 minutes in the morning before you use it every day.
the alternator in the motorcyle will charge the battery automatically.

Getting spark fuel ignition still wont start also charged up battery for 20 hours

Hi, Jennifer_11p and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
8. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP, CKP, O2 and/or BAS).
11. Security alarm needs a reset.

My spark plug floods everytime I try to start my SYM RV250cc motor scooter. Note: It is below freezing (20 degrees). I have been starting it once or twice a week to keep the battery charged. Last time I...

Not sure where you are (what country) but starting the scooter every so often is actually harder on it then just letting it sit. Here is a suggestion first get a small battery charger to put on the battery and bring it up to power, get some gas (fuel) stabilizer and put a few ounces in the gas tank. Motorcycle and scooters are heavily summer Bias, winter or cold starts are just not what they are meant to do. When the temperature here in Canada gets down to +10c my motorcycles can be just rude to start. Not only that the tires being tuned or made for hotter conditions become hard in the cold weather and will not grip the road surface well at all. Okay lets get back to your scooter, once you have the battery back up to power, put the gas (fuel) stabilizer in the tank and fire up the scooter, be careful not to over choke it or you will flood it. You need to nurse it along once it does start and don't rev it up to much cause it's just not going to like you until it has some heat. Once running on it's own you'll need to let it run in a well ventilated area for at least ten minutes to get that fuel stabilizer through the fuel system. Once you have done that your scooter is good to the spring. As a suggestion I'd put the charger on the battery once a month for a couple of hours at a time to keep it fresh don't stat it. What you are doing now by starting it every week or so is taking more battery power out to start then you are putting back in running it a few minutes (10) because of the cold temperatures. This will drain the battery making it increasingly harder to start and requiring more power from the battery which it doesn't have. The battery will give it's all to turn the starter which will short change the ignition system which requires at least 10 volts to fire the plug(s). You keep cranking the engine hoping it will fire meanwhile there is no ignition because there isn't enough power to make it happen. Vicious circle, that's why I'm suggesting you charge the battery before you attempt to start it again. The Fuel Stabilizer is just that it keeps the gas fresh and prevents varnishing or fowled systems. Cheers Have a Great Holiday Season from Robert in Canada

It will not start by the ignition but starts after few kickstart

When you kick start a motorcycle or scooter, the motor turns over much faster than your electric starter can turn it over, even with a new battery.
I saw this before with several brands of scooters and the problem was solved by making sure you have clean battery terminals, and a fully charged good battery.
Some batteries will take a full charge but cant take a load. So your battery may seem good because it has 12+ volts, but when you try to start it it drops below 10-11 volts.
Most local auto parts stores can put a load test on your battery for free. If you purchase a new one, make sure it is the one called for for your scooter.

My scooter wont start can u help

It is definitely frustrating when you can't get your scooter or moped started. The first thing you'll need to do is to narrow down the problem. In order for your gas scooter to start, it really only needs 3 things:

1.
Your scooter needs to spark at the correct time.
2.
Your engine needs the proper fuel/air mixture and exhaust flow.
3.
You need sufficient engine compression.

Top 9 Reasons Why Your Scooter Won't Start:

1.
Try depressing the brake handle when starting.
2. The battery has not been charged.
3. The battery is hooked up wrong. This is often the reason for blown fuses.
4. There isn't enough gas or two-stroke oil in the scooter.
5. There is a gas flow problem, especially on the Euro Scooter or Yamaha models.
6. The spark plug wire is not connected.
7. A low battery or bad relay can cause the scooter to only start by using the kick starter.
8. There is no spark to the spark plug. The coil is bad and needs to be replaced.
9. Turn the key to the "on" position.

I have a scooter a bms teamguys 150cc scooter it is impossible to start in the morning or after its been sitting for a few hours you have to use starter fluid to get it going but once its warmed up it runs...

Could just be cold blooded. Does sound like fuel is being primed to be able to start. if a person has to use starter fluid, then that means the carb is not getting enough gas at start up. Carb will most likely need to be pulled apart and soaked in solvent or equivelant for couple hours. Make sure float is adjusted properly and fuel filter is clean

Schwinn S180 won't charge

NashvilleDan, this scooter has 2 12v 10 amp batteries in series, you should read over 24 volts at the charging hub if the batteries are good. I would think that if the scooter sat for over a year you have bad batteries, They can be purchased at battery plus.

Not sure if this will help... however an altmeter will allow you to test along your electrics for any faults. You can check at the lights for example and throught the system.
