I have recently purchased a 1996 T25 Camper van and I hope your advice is not confined to 1986 Campers. It had stood unused for about 18months. Although the 3 of the brakes callipers have been replaced( 2 on the front and the nearside rear) The rear one is still binding after driving it for about 15 mins.(although the garage has driven it for longer to test it out without any supposed problem!). After this happened the first time it was returned to the garage and they replaced three hoses connected to the balance valve on the rear axle.
The total amount of work carried out includes replacing the front discs plus pads and callipers. On the rear the offside calliper was OK but the nearside one was replaced. Two new discs were also fitted on both rear wheels plus pads. I was wondering if it is possible that it is the balance valve. Do you know if this could be the problem.

Failing that, a junkyard like "pick n pull" or similar is a very good source for items like this.
You will have to find the source of the leak and repair it. There can be no leaks of any amount, or the clutch won't work. After you repair it, whether it be a line or the slave cylinder or whatever, you will have to bleed the line and get all the air out of it. if you need more info, get back to me.
you have to lift the plastic casing of your instrument panel (speedometer/clock). The brake and clutchfluid container is right behind it. Use both of your hands and grab casing at windscreen side and then gently pull towards you. Good luck
this is caused by a fluid leak in the braking system, either the master brake cylinder, brake lines/hoses, or wheel cylinders/calipers. Inspect or have a professional inspect it for you and replace as needed. brakes are nothing to be stingey about. Hope this helps.
