get the clymer yamaha motorcycle repair manual for 1981-2002. it will be twenty bucks well spent.
most book stores carry it or you can go to a motorcyle shop or on the internet at clymer.com

I've used www.tradebit.com. It's not free, but extremely reasonable. I've gotten them as cheap as $4.99, and the most I've spent is $20. They have tons of manuals, worht a look to see if your's is available.Good luck!
