SOURCE: I HAVE A 50CC BAJA
In order for the CDI to work you need a power source for the CDI, a timing
trigger signal, and the kill pin must not be grounded. I would say it's probably a failed CDI.
You also have kill switches, any one of which can cause no spark. They are: One pole of the ignition switch, a handle bar kill switch, the rear tether kill switch, and the remote control box. The power source is most likely a high voltage AC winding on the stator. The trigger signal is used to tell the CDI when to fire, and comes from a winding on the stator. All of this stuff can be easily measured/analyzed for proper operation with a voltmeter.
On the output side of the CDI (the coil and spark plug and some problems within the CDI) are more easily troubleshot by swapping in new parts since they can't be completely measured without special equipment. You can measure the primary and secondary winding continuity on the CDI. If there is no continuity, replace the CDI.
I would start by measuring each kill switch to make sure they are not grounded.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Have you tested the alternator yet? If it is weak, it will cause the battery to drain. You need to make sure nothing is staying on to drain the battery. Make sure you have a good connection to the battery. Make sure the terminals and post are cleaned and tight. Make sure the terminal ends are not damaged. Make sure the wires are not bent. You want to make sure they are all clamped as one or you won't get the best connection. Inspect the wires for damage also. Check your alternator. Make sure everything is shut off when you are done riding. Check the battery and wires. You want a good connection, make sure it is clean, and make sure it has no damage.
