It is customary to include YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, and ENGINE SIZE when you are asking for specific information. Especially when you are asking for engine specifications. These can change from year-to-year, model-to-model and engine size-to-engine size. This information is needed to look up the information that you are asking for. (unless you want somebody to just GUESS.)
You need repair manual to see crankshaft sprocket and the camshaft sprocket timing marks.

I had the same problem. Haynes manual don't show it worth a dukey.
If you put the dot on the pully straight up (look closely) you will see actually 2 little studs sticking out. This is where I aligned mine and it fired right up fine.
Now I'm missing the sticker under the hood to give me the specs for ignition timing and if there is any vacuum lines that need removed. Thats what leads me here.

there there they probably just are not as easy to see as they once where. here will be a pointer on the timing cover and there will be four notches on the balancer, three close together and on space a little further than the other three. At one time the center notch in the three grouped together was red.
The balancer may need to be cleaned a little with some sandpaper to make them visible but they should be there.
The other think that comes to mind is there might be a rubber plug in the transmission under the distributor. Some of the older honda engines had this, I don't remember of hand which ones. When you remove the plug you will see the notches and timing marks.

There should be a black rubber plug above the front motor mount, on the radiator side of the motor, where the motor and transmission come together.
