SOURCE: leaking oil from power valve on 2000 yz 125

It is normal for the powervalves to leak, but it does depend on where it is leaking from.

The hose on the left side is the power valve chamber vent - it is normal for it to leak thick black oil from this hose.

If the leak is on the right side, and the oil is transmission fluid, then the seal on the actuator shaft needs to be replaced.

Excessive oil from the powervalve hose is a possible sign that the compression is low. Low compression equals lower exhaust temperatures and this can lead to incomplete combustion.

Take compressed air and blow air up into the the weep hole. For some odd reason it made 3 different CRF's stop leaking. It's worth a shot.

Coolant is leaking from weep hole. I replaced both oil seals, gaskets (case and water pump) impeller shaft and bearings. Only thing I didnt replace was the impeller itself.

Engine water leak coming out a hole on aprilia rs 125 cc

Hi, is this the weep hole on the water impellor cover? If it is you will need to replace the seals within the water pump itself, it is designed like this, aNy water leaking past the seals will exit via the weep hole, without this the water would contaminate the oil inside the gearbox, it is mportant you do not use this machine until the problem is rectified, paul

2004 YZ 250 is leaking fluid out of the hole just behind water pump underneath the crankcase. The gasket looks fine and its not leaking from the gasket its actually coming out of the hole. I started...

The hole is a weep hole, designed to drain coolant from water pump seal leakage or oil from bearing seal leakage from contaminating either system. So one of the seals is leaking, and you should rebuild the pump.
Looking at the parts diagram it appears the impeller is threaded onto the shaft on the YZ250....hope that helps, heres the parts diagram

When i fill it up with oil and wait for it to bleed out of the hole i have to put in more oil the next day

If you cant see it leaking anywhere, the engine oil seal may need replacing, as it can s uck oil from the gearbox through the seal, and this will burn through the engine, especially if you notice it is smokier than it should be
