It looks like you must. The spark plug is deep between the camshafts and it will be really hard if not impossible to reach without taking the tank off.

Just fill the reservoir and start up. The water pump will wash through the coolant and the air, top up the tank until radiater is hot.

2003 ltz 400 starts and runs fine until it gets hot. then it chokes and spits and finally willnot start. cool down runs fine and then same cycle all over agian once it gets hot. \r\n\r\ncleaned gas tank,...

I would recommended Removing Head of engine and inspecting barrel and piston rings as when Engine gets hot The rings expand slightly if there cracked and they expand Piston will not move properly.

I have a 2005 suzuki ltz 400 with exhaust and jet kit recently it started running not so good and exhast pipe glows cherry red any suggestions how to fix this problem or what i can be causing this problem

if its liquid cooled u may need fluid--too lean condition in carbs causes valves to overheat--watever u do buy a clymer manual or hav a pro look at the jets-try not to ride until
