87, 2.9L, 5spd ranger. I would like to know if u can
We Bought a Used 87, 2.9L, 5spd ranger 4yrs ago. I would like to know if u can "E" a picture of the fuse box w/ the "Ratings" (Amps) for ea fuse that's used.
6 months ago, 8:30pm I drove south from Lk City, FL to Ocala, Fl on I-75 (85 miles / 1 1/2 hrs). After getting gas, I drove 2 miles over to a friend's. The truck was idling in neutral for about 20min, & then steam started to come from under the hood, so I turned off the engine right when it happened. Opened the hood & seen that the Bottom water hose connect to the engine split 6 inches down from the connection facing the driver side. I live about 2 miles from there & my friend told me, try to start it & drive slowly & pull over if the Temperature Gauge goes past Half Way & turn it off). So, I tried to start the engine, it turned over, but wouldn't start. Next morning came back & it started up. I traveled 20 yrds & it died. It turned over, but didn't start. Put on a New coil about a week ago, but still nothing. Some1 told me to check the Ignition Control Module under the Distributor's Back Side. Any suggests?

The TFI ignition module is mounted to the side of the distributor two 7/32" machine screws hold it on, requires a special tool to remove it. Our fuse box diagrams only go back to 1996 model year.

The synchronizers are the reason it won't come out of gear. They are damaged and the slide ring won't go over them. You will have to remove the transmission and replace the 4th gear synchronizer. I wish I had a better answer. Hope this was helpful. Good luck.
different manufacturers and retailer use different part numbers, just contade the nearest suspension shop and give them details, you can also customise your order to add more leafs or less to modify your ride stiffness and height
Only way to check the timing belt is to remove cover, When was last time belt was replaced, timing belt should be replaced every 50,000 miles, shound like that would be next thing to check
Your problem could be caused by a bad felt seal..the drum rotates against this seal. The purpose of the seal is to seal the hot air from going out of the drum and into the room.
Remove the front of the dryer and this should expose the drum and felt seal.
