Fuel Leak I have a 1996 Saturn SC1. When I start the car first thing in the morning it doesn't want to kick over right away. After about 3 or 4 attempts it starts but I smelled gas. I happened to look under the car and saw a puddle of gas right under the engine. After the car is running the gas leak stops. It doesn't leak when the engine is running. It doesn't leak when the car is shut off and the car starts immediately after it has been running. Any suggestions for the gas leak when I initially start the car?

I wouldn't drive or start it with a fuel leak, it needs to be up on a lift to see it all clear, before any proper diagnosis.

My car a 1996 Saturn SC1 has had problems starting for a while now, went to work yesterday and when i came out it wouldn't start at all. how can i tell if it is the coil that's gone bad?

1` it can be anything from fuel to sensor to ignition --need to test if getting fuel try spraying starter fluid if starts then need to look into fuel pump-relay fuse -fuel filter etc--if no start need to look into ignition system sensors -etc

Got wires crossed while changing spark plug wires on 1996 saturn SC1. How do determine correct wire placement?

According to Saturn timing specifications, the internal firing order for the Saturn 1.9L motor, both Single overhead cam, or Twin cam is as follows:
Left to right 1-3-4-2

If you are routing spark plug wires, and need to know the order of wires from the coils to the engine, the order is as follows:
Left to right 4-1-2-3

93 saturn sc1 fuel line release

All you should have to do is squeeze the plastic clips together, you may need a pliers. Another thing that helps is spray some WD-40 in there and rotate the filter on the line a little.
