Hi, i have a diesel bullet (greaves 5hp engine) can i fix a horn and all electrical parts without a battery????
(using engine output power)..... some one ans me...am not a electrical mechanical guy..... i try to restore my grandpa's bulls at home..... tnx in advance!

Fault handling:
1. Check the main output circuit of generator to prevent the short circuit at the output end from causing the excitation can not be established;
2. Click the excitation Magnetizing button with the excitation Magnetizing button.
3. Without excitation buttons, magnetized with battery
diesel engine of diesel bullet is made for stationary engine at early, it does not governs accelarator as ramp. most of engine rebuilders repairs as is, but it need some special setting for low and high throttle. after all, most of diesel bullet engine needs to reassamble with power..
as the bike got only few electrical parts . the only suggestion is to carry on with the same electrical wiring as on electra .it will workout , i have done it with my redditch 1971 model it looks cool
This is just a guess but it may have powered headlights or other lights on the train at one time, some of then even had a smoke producing device on them.
It definitely sounds like the electrical part of your ignition isn't working properly.When you turn the key, the lck and tumbler turns on the ign. switch in which sends power to the rest of the car.
