Suburban front tire squeek

Every time the car bounces up and down, there is a squeeking sound by the drivers front tire. The shocks have been checked and found to be fine. Is there a bushing in there or some other part that would cause the noise?

Squeaks in the front end can be any one of the suspension components....however with gm trucks it has been my experience that its probably a ball joint.........GET IT CHECKED!!!!!!!.......if the ball joint breaks the wheel will flop in the wheel well and can cause severe damage to your other suspension components as well as body damage.(can be very expensive) if you are traveling at a fast speed you may lose control and possibly crash! But most of the time a bad ball joint will break when you are going into a driveway or parking lot.
hope this helps........Good Luck!

Loud squeaking when front end moves up and down, have replaced shocks and no help, can not narrow down where sound is coming from, any ideas?

You have control arms on both sides bolted to the frame . They pivot on rubber bushings.
Buy a can of spray silicone and soak the bushings.Bounce the truck up and down then spray the rubber bushings again.Do not get the spray on any thing else. Wear safety glasses and dont breath the spray.

What causes squeeking on a 1997 ford explorer in the front

Does it happen while the drive belt is moving? I have an incessant squeak on my Taurus from the a/c compressor. If it sounds like a cricket, it could be your brakes.

I have a squeek in the front end.

Sway Bar End Link
Common wear out part for the Ford's
Look under the front end you will find a bar that attaches to the frame in the front and to the A frames on each side,
The squeek will turn into a bang at some point, ....replace both and it will feel as if you have a new car.
let me know if I can help with installation.

Squeeks from front end, 1999 explorer sport

you did not indicated when the squeek occurs. If you turn the steering wheel and there is a dry squeek look at the tie rod ends. If you bounce the truck and the squeek is heard look at the stabilizer bar bushings {most common cause } If this is the cause, lubing them is a temporary fix they should be replaced.
